Edward J. Nell (Malcolm B. Smith Professor of Economics at the New School for Social Research) talks briefly here on an early lecture of John Maynard Keynes in 1931 at the New School for Social Research. Some interesting discussion of depression history, the thinking of Keynes in the early 1930s, and his movement away from the quasi-monetarist stage of his economic ideas.
