    i think one of the most troublesome things in the U.S (except neglecting post keynesian economics which is neglected sadly worldwide).

    is wrong incencetives.

    and the first big step to fix the wrong incencetives,is that people which try to run for public office (to senate congress presidency) will get public (taxpayer) funding instead of private donations.

    in this case politicians in the U.S will get the right incencetive to work for the public and not for interest groups which currently fund them and control them.
