Bibliography on the Socialist Calculation Debate from the 1920s to 1940s

To follow up on an earlier post, I list below a bibliography on the socialist economic calculation debate from the original literature of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

The bibliography is in chronological order, rather than alphabetical, since I think this gives a better perspective on how the debate played out.

  1. Jan said:Thank you Lord Keynes!A excellent work and bibliography. So after what i could understand this Gary North over at Mises.org,see:
Max Weber, Ragnar Frisch,Abba Lerner, Karl Kautsky, Enrico Barone, Karl Polanyi,Roger Hawtrey, Maurice Dobb etc.as non existent entities?Since he wrote: "academics did not respond to Mises for over 15 years " and Oscar Lange was a hack... he taught at the University of Chicago".I have books from all those "non-existent economist" in my library, but i have never heard of this Gary North until now.But since the Neo-Austrians are very active on internet,of course i could read about this G. North. and he is refered to as Blogger, Author that try to melt together,Christian Economics, with the thoughts of Rothbard et consortes(anti-fractional reserve banking mixed with conspiracy theories like the millennium bug).He also opposes the US Department of Education claiming is a cartel, and so on.
No Lord Keynes i can´t see how in the world this economic school of thought could restore their credibility. It´s in a way sad,i think since Carl Menger was a brilliant economist of his time, but the way it developed, afterwards,no i can´t see much brightness at that horizont.
